Your prospect's current packaging is in their own product photos.
For packaging converters, private label manufacturers, contract packers and label printers. An AI sales agent that identifies brands by the format they use today, catches rebrands and launches while the specification is still open, and contacts them only where that is lawful.
How do you know what packaging a brand currently uses?
They photograph it. Every brand with a product to sell publishes images of that product in its packaging — on its own site and across retail listings. Format, material, closure, label style and pack size are visible without contacting anyone. For a supplier of glass jars, a brand currently in plastic tubs is a conversion; a brand already in glass is a displacement, and an entirely different conversation. Very few industries can see the incumbent product this clearly before making contact.

Anyone producing a physical product theoretically needs packaging. That sounds like an advantage and is actually the central difficulty: an undefined target list produces undefined results, and packaging suppliers are the businesses most likely to arrive with one.
So this vertical needs a tighter definition than any other before a single prospect is found. We narrow on three axes: the formats and materials you actually supply, the minimum volume band your economics require, and the sectors where your certifications, lead times or location give you a real advantage.
A packaging supplier with a broad list gets poor results from any system, ours included. One with a clear view of the two hundred brands genuinely worth winning gets good ones. If you do not yet have that definition, the first phase produces it — that is work, not a formality.
What the system looks at in your trade.
Current format and material
Read from published product imagery and listings. Determines whether the opportunity is a conversion from another material or a displacement within the same one.
Category and channel
Food, cosmetics, supplements, beverages, household. And where it sells — retail, direct to consumer, wholesale — which drives pack requirements and volumes.
Volume indicators
Range breadth, retail listings, distribution footprint, production scale. Filters out brands below the volume your minimum order quantity requires.
Rebrand or redesign
The strongest signal here. Packaging is specified rarely and left alone for years. A redesign is one of the few windows where the specification genuinely reopens.
New product or line extension
A new SKU needs new packaging, and it is announced before it ships. No incumbent to displace on that line.
Retail or export entry
Entering a new retailer or a new country frequently forces pack changes — sizes, languages, labelling and compliance marks.
Regulatory change
New packaging and waste rules force reformulation across whole categories at once, on a published timetable. Suppliers who move early on that timetable win.
Sustainability commitments
A public commitment to recyclable or reduced-plastic packaging is a stated intention to change supplier, with a date attached.
Contract packer mapping
Many brands do not specify their own packaging — their co-packer does. The system maps them, so you approach where the decision actually sits.
Where you can email, and where you cannot.
GDPR is uniform across the European Union; the ePrivacy Directive is not. Consent is required outright in Germany and Austria (double opt-in), Italy, Spain, Poland, Greece, Denmark, Czechia and the Netherlands — and Germany and Italy are large packaging markets. A second group depends on the address rather than the country: Belgium, Finland and Portugal permit email to a generic company address such as info@ but not to a named individual, and Sweden and Ireland allow it where the message relates to the recipient's professional role. France, Hungary, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Estonia, Croatia and Latvia are genuinely opt-out, with a documented legitimate interest assessment.
In the opt-in markets the system blocks the email and produces a telephone briefing with recorded evidence of fit — which in this vertical is unusually concrete, because you can point to the brand's own current pack and say precisely what you would change and why.
That call is placed by a person, not by the AI. Automated calling requires express prior consent and, in Germany, has no business-to-business exception whatsoever. The voice agent's job starts after a brand has consented — and in packaging that is worth having, because a consented brand can be called the moment it announces a rebrand or a new line, which is the only window that matters.

Send the formats and materials you supply, your minimum volume, and the countries and categories you want to reach. You will get back a written view of how many qualifying brands exist, what is lawful in each market, and what it would cost. If your target definition is too broad to work, we will say so before you spend anything.
