Factories describe their processes in public, in detail.
For manufacturers of industrial components, machinery, automation and production equipment. An AI sales agent that finds and qualifies plants by process, certification and capacity across every European market, watches for the moments when a requirement forms, and contacts them only where that is lawful.
How do you identify which factories are relevant prospects?
Manufacturers describe themselves in unusual detail, because their own customers demand it. Sites list processes, tolerances, materials handled, certifications such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949, machinery installed, plant size and the sectors they serve. That is enough to determine whether a plant could use your component before anyone is contacted. Trade fair catalogues and industrial registers add structure on top — sector, country and product category are already classified for you.
theagency47 · Updated August 2026The account values are high and the coverage is thin.
An industrial supplier with a good product often sells to a fraction of the plants that could use it — not because the product is wrong, but because reaching them means a technical conversation with an engineer in another country who has never heard of you. So coverage happens through distributors, a stand at Hannover Messe, and the accounts inherited from whoever held the territory before.
This is the vertical where a single customer can justify the entire system. An account worth fifty thousand euros a year in consumable components, or a single machine sale, pays for the build several times over. That changes the arithmetic: you do not need volume, you need to be in front of the right twenty plants at the right moment.
What the system looks at in your trade.
Processes and materials
What the plant actually does — machining, injection moulding, welding, assembly, surface treatment — and which materials it handles. The primary filter, and usually published.
Certifications held
ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485. These declare which end markets a plant is qualified to supply, and therefore which standards your component must meet.
Installed machinery
Named machine brands and models on a capability page tell you the plant's technology generation and where a compatible or competing component fits.
Plant scale
Headcount, floor area, number of sites, shift pattern. For consumables this predicts annual volume; for capital equipment it predicts budget authority.
Expansion and new lines
The signal that matters most here. A new plant, a new production line or a major investment is announced well in advance and creates a requirement that did not exist before.
Engineering recruitment
Hiring process engineers, maintenance specialists or quality staff for a named technology signals what the plant is building toward, often months before procurement starts.
Certification programmes
A plant pursuing a new standard is re-qualifying its supply chain. Incumbency is weakest exactly when the paperwork is being redone.
Trade fair presence
Exhibiting in a market or a sector where a company does not yet sell is a public declaration of intent to enter it — and of a budget to do so.
Incumbent supplier
Supplier and technology partners are frequently named on capability pages and in case studies. Where they are, the approach becomes a technical comparison rather than an introduction.
Your largest market is the one that permits least.
Germany is the largest industrial market in Europe and usually the first priority. It is also one of the strictest: UWG paragraph 7 requires the same consent for a B2B email to a company address as for a promotional email to a consumer. There is no general business exemption. Italy, Austria, Spain and Poland take the same position.
In those markets the system blocks the email and produces a telephone briefing instead, with recorded evidence of technical fit — which is precisely what German law needs to support a lawful business call, since a match of industry sector alone is not sufficient. In this vertical that evidence is unusually strong, because technical fit can be demonstrated from the plant's own published capabilities.
A person makes that first call, not the AI. German law treats an automated calling machine far more strictly than a human caller — express prior consent, no business-to-business exception, and the existing-customer exception does not extend to calls. Given that Germany is usually the priority market here, this is the distinction that keeps the whole programme lawful. Once a plant consents, the voice agent handles it automatically from then on.
The Netherlands, Denmark, Czechia and Greece also require consent, which is worth knowing before anyone assumes that everything outside Germany is open. A second group depends on the address rather than the country: Belgium, Finland and Portugal permit email to a generic company address but not to a named individual, and Sweden and Ireland allow it where the message relates to the recipient's professional role. France, Hungary, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Estonia, Croatia and Latvia are genuinely opt-out, where personalised email is permitted with a documented legitimate interest assessment.

This is a patient investment, not a pipeline in a quarter.
If your product is a machine with an eighteen-month decision cycle, nothing here shortens that cycle. What it changes is coverage and timing: instead of finding out about a plant expansion when a competitor has already been specified in, you know when it is announced.
Suppliers of consumable components see returns considerably faster than suppliers of capital equipment, because the first order can happen in weeks rather than after a qualification programme. If you sell both, we would start the system on the consumable line and let it build the relationships that the equipment sale later needs.

Send the component or machine, the processes it serves and the countries you want to reach. You will get back a written view of how many qualifying plants exist there, what is lawful in each market, and what it would cost.
